Why did you start your company or why do you want to innovate inside your company?

Poverty is an issue Indonesia has been facing for decades, and the number of the underpriviledged people increases every year. Consequently, many Indonesians are still unable to afford proper health services. It also seems that the government overlooks this issue with a poorly-managed health care. The economic discrepancy in the society, in addition to the aforementioned reasons, becomes the rationale why Siapapeduli.id as a crowdfunding exists to solve this issue. It aims to be a creative solution to the declining public awareness and the people who need financial supports to get health services. In the long run, I am hoping to see Siapapeduli.id to also reach a wider range of impact.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

To see how my innovation/product positively impacts the community is a rewarding experience to me. Sometimes, they do not work as I expected, and it can be frustrating, but I always try to understand what the market demands, revise the strategy, and execute a better plan.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Not listening to the people's needs and not having a good people management skill. People do not care about the solution you offer. They care about their problems instead, and this is not understood by a lot of entrepreneurs. They only focus on the solution they have, assuming it will fit the market needs without knowing that it is actually not what they want. In the implementation and execution of our ideas, it is also important to manage people well.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. Execute your ideas quickly. Ideas do not execute themselves, but this does not mean we have to do things without thinking. There should be careful considerations and studies about many aspects, but they should be done in timely manner.
2. Listen to the market demands. Your product/innovation should solve people's problems instead of creating something new they completely do not care about.
3. Organize and energize. People management skill is an integral factor in the success of an innovation. You should be able to organize and energize them in order to have the productivity and motivation that supports the company's goals.
