F. Chris Garcia was a member of the University of New Mexico faculty for more than 40 years, teaching Political Science and also serving as the institution’s President during the 2002-2003 academic year. An integral part of several organizations within the Albuquerque community, he has worked with groups focused on the improvement of Albuquerque government and education so that others may have a better and brighter future ahead of them.
