First-time entrepreneur
I'm bursting with ideas!
Getaround, Facebook, and of course Fun2Rent :-)
Most rewarding is the joy of seeing your own making bring value to people
Most frustrating is wanting to do more than one have resources for
Getting too focused on their own business idea/product, and forgetting to listen to customer and consumer needs
-With passion and hard work, anything is possible!
-Networking is key
-Challenges turns into opportunities
Co-Founder of Fun2Rent – An online platform providing affordable rentals to recreational enthusiasts, and allowing individual owners to earn money on their powersport vehicles & vessels by renting them out to qualified members in a safe and insured environment.
I have a long background in the high-tech manufacturing and embedded software industry, where I’ve worked for both larger companies like Ericsson and Mentor Graphics, and smaller startups such as Fanfare, Electric Cloud, and Coverity.
My professional experience include Technical Marketing, Sales, and Business Development. As a Sr. Business Development Manager, I developed and managed long-term alliances and strategic relationships with key vendors and partners, as well as drove global marketing programs.
In March 2011, we started Fun2Rent. The idea came up when we were trying to rent snowmobiles and realized it was utterly expensive and there was no insurance coverage. We thought it would be great if there were cheaper options availabe, with insurance included.
I live in the Bay Area with my husband and our son. We love doing anything that include speed and being outdoors, such as skiing, riding motorcycles, and mountain biking.
