Love being an entrepreneur but learning how to balance work and self. The value I bring to any project taking a risk - I guess sort of a rebel. Quote_down

If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

I want to change the world.

My favorite startups:

Anything to do with helping people, medical companies that are saving lives and making healthcare acessable

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Knowing you are on to something but not having the appropriate infrastructure to pull it off. Timing is everything!

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

We underestimate the amount of energy, time and funds that are required to scale.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

I'm still learning this and trying to dig out of it but DO NOT LOOSE YOURSELF IN YOUR START UP!!! Every entrepreneur is unique and is fueled by something besides the company - art, exercise, food, friends, etc. What ever it may be do not stop doing these things because of work. It will be three year this August since I have been working on BriteHub and I'm just now realizing I have done nothing to fuel my soul in 3 years - besides the company. Be an individual and make sure to take care of you mind and body if not you'll loose perspective. Don't become a startup Zombie!

My knowledge of physical goods, and retail is accompanied by my personal design experience. I have worked hand and hand with wood, metal, plastics and more. I have a strong comprehensive understanding of what it takes to bring a product to market and have worked directly with top furniture manufacturers such as Kartell, Vitra, Modernica, Bludot and Gus Modern. I am a highly conceptual and creative professional with a love for manufacturing. Prior to BRITEHUB, I held the position of Executive Director at MadeLife a retail design incubator.
