Most frustrating: things not happening fast enough
Rewarding: creating something and having people use it

Thinking things will not take very long to take off

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

The hard part is having the energy and determination to get something off the ground and in the market. the easy part is the tech, design and idea in the first place.

With a strong background in user interface design and information architecture, Darren brings almost 20 years of design expertise to the table. 

In 1996, Darren co-founded Toronto based design firm schark! Design Communications which he sold to a National Canadian technology company (T4G Limited) in 2000. 

Darren brings a unique understanding of technology, business and design that allows him to lead teams in creating "mobile first" user experiences. 

He lives outside of Toronto with his wife and four girls. Darren is passionate about creating and listening to music, coaching sports, watching football and although it is rare, loves any minute of spare time he can get.
