Darren Powderly, CCIM is the Co-Founder & VP of Real Estate at CrowdStreet, a U.S. equity crowdfunding platform connecting experienced investors with high-quality commercial real estate opportunities. Darren's also a shareholder with Compass Commercial, one of the Pacific NW's leading commercial real estate advisory companies. Darren has personally negotiated hundreds of millions of dollars of commercial real estate and software contracts. In addition to specializing in complex commercial real estate advisory services, Darren has owned, operated, syndicated developed commercial investment properties. Over two decades of hard work has earned Darren a deep understanding of both investment real estate and technology. Darren began his career in San Francisco with Oracle/ATG where he built and managed a team of 17 sales people and negotiated multi-million dollar deals with companies ranging from VC-funded start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations. Darren is a graduate of the Leeds Business School at the University of Colorado where he started his first profitably business at 19 years old. Darren grew up in Red Bank, NJ and cherishes being a bi-coastal businessman.
