Callywood is the red carpet diva, the Hostess with the Mostess, Cosandra Calloway. Audiences across the globe have made time to hear her memorable shows. Whether it’s the comedy of Laugh Out Loud Wednesday, or the grown-up hangout Callywood After Dark, the funky Neo-Soul Tuesday, or the Saturday staple Callywood Live, she is the preferred destination for audiences of all kinds.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Cosandra has seen it all, but not done it all. Not yet. A former Miss Black Teen New York (1982), and track star, she began her radio career while at John Jay College in New York. Almost overnight, she soon became a popular show host at Hunter University, and shared her talents with South Carolina’s college radio station. It was during these times of paying her dues, and honing her craft, that Callywood was created.

Having conquered New York, she set her sights to the west, and landed in Los Angeles to take over the left coast as well. Cosandra’s network of clever and entertaining broadcasts have gained over 4,000,000 listeners since 2009, while broadcasting live from Los Angeles. People flock to hear their favorite celebrity dish on Callywood Live. The Callywood Nation fan base has grown since its inception. It’s no secret why. Callywood shows are jam packed with local, national, and world news, information, music, celebrity gossip, and more. It's radio at its best, and it’s hosted by Cosandra Calloway herself.

Callywood presented its very own Callywood Awards in 2013, a star-studded event conceived and produced by Cosandra herself, and presented in Las Vegas, Nevada.
