If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

Enjoy building things and improving the healthcare system.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Not learning and adapting because of confirmation bias

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. Constantly learn and adapt
2. Be persistent
3. Be a nice person

These lessons predated my experience as an entrepreneur but have definitely been reinforced during this journey.

Full bio

My interest in medicine started as a child while looking at lung pathology slides with his dad. For me, entrepreneurship is an opportunity to develop new ideas on improving the healthcare system while empowering others to do the same. I received an MD from Yale University, an MBA with High Distinction (Baker Scholar) from Harvard Business School and a BA from Stanford University. I completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and am a Board-Certified Emergency Physician.
