Why did you start your company or why do you want to innovate inside your company?

According to Steven Pressfield you are either a "pro" or an "amateur," when it comes to being in business for yourself. I started my current company because I take my screenwriting pursuits seriously and fully anticipate that I will need the business structure (legally) in place. Call it great expectations; call it "cart before the horse,"; call it whatever you want - I laid the foundation and set the intention by creating a business entity because I am a "pro." I've had plenty of "jobs," and I refuse to ever have another one.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Frustrating: Being misperceived
Rewarding: Living authentically, by my rules (well, mostly mine :)

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Spreading themselves too thin

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

Planning is overrated.
Planning is not-overated.
Planning is what we think we need to do, yet it never works out the way we planned.
