Carmen is a Partner at Make in LA, an accelerator and early stage venture firm that specializes in technology-enabled hardware (e.g., internet of things, robotics, wearables, VR/AR/MR, etc.). She was formerly Vice President, Investment Operations, at Dimensional Fund Advisors LP.
Carmen has an MBA from Berkeley-Haas, an MA in sports management from the University of San Francisco, and a BA in economics from the University of Southern California.
