A passionate Tea Man, I have spent nearly 4 decades in the fascinating world of teas. Currently, I am heading a company born out of my passion for teas - Teamonk Global.

Teamonk Global is a speciality tea portal, driven by single minded vision of offering the finest natural speciality teas to the tea lovers across the world. Our completely integrated E-commerce platform will enable the delivery of the handpicked curated selection from the best tea plantations in India in record time worldwide.

I started this career with Lipton as a management trainee in the Tea division and having spent 15 years in perfecting the art of tea tasting, buying, blending, quality control with good understanding of the tea manufacturing process and heading tea buying units in Siliguri, South India, Guwahati and Kolkata, I moved on to head Tea Exports operation in Lipton and subsequently, to lead the Popular Tea division with very successful  launch of Brooke Bond A1.
After completing 22 years Lipton ,Brooke bond in India,  I was seconded to Unilever Indonesia to head the domestic tea operation where I established a new milestone with 5000 tons/annum  of Teabag business under "Sariwangi" , the largest teabag operation for Unilever in Australasia region.
My final posting with Unilever was in Vietnam as Director, Foods that included Lipton Tea and Knorr Foods and achieved a very significant growth.
After completing 30 years with Unilever, I joined Madhu Jayanti International, the largest private label exporter of teabags from India, as CEO, Tea and thereafter, THP, Group, the biggest beverage company in Vietnam as Director, Business Development, leading the exports and Marketing division.
Since 2012, I was associated with Mohani Tea, the largest regional tea company in North India as consultant VP and helped in professionalizing the group for sustained growth as well as started their exports division for value added as well as bulk tea, breaking new grounds for the company.
