Brian Sathianathan

Brian Sathianathan is an experienced entrepreneur and digital media executive with experience in products, technology and startups. Over the last fifteen years Brian has been working in startups and Fortune 500 companies to bring innovative consumer and enterprise products to market. At Turner, Brian is a part of the emerging technology team looking for startups in the Advanced TV, Advertising & Recommendation space.

Prior to Turner he was the head of Smith Micro’s video business and was responsible for strategy, vision and integration of the acquired video platform from Avot Media (a company co-founded by Brian). Prior to Avot, Brian held management positions at Apple Inc for 8 years leading iPhone and Intel Mac initiatives. He was part of the core group that designed the security and activation platform for the iPhone and holds patents in this area.

Brian is passionate about startups and new products, and his mission is to impart this knowledge to the entrepreneurial community. He is an active advisor and an investor to several Valley startups.

Brian has an MBA & MS degree in Computer Science.
