Bob Gold founded and manages Bob Gold & Associates, one of the premiere independent integrated communications public relations agencies in the country. In 2019 Public Relations Society (PRSA) Los Angeles named him Communications Professional of the Year. And in November 2020 the firm was named one of the Top Agencies in America by Forbes. 

Gold is also Managing Partner of Hemisphere Technologies Inc., which is dedicated to investing in publicly-traded and privately-held technology companies.  

He is the author of the popular children’s picture book, The Shiny Penny and holds a Masters’ degree from the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Southern California, where he is Emeritus on the Alumni Board of Directors and USC's Board of Governors.
