Full bio
Benjamin Goldfarb (Co-Founder and President, Technology) has never liked waste - not when it comes to time, space, money, or energy efficiency. In fact, Ben is one of those rare Los Angeles residents who actually uses mass transit, and he's done it since way before it was a 'conscious' thing to do.

Goldfarb has been a pioneer in green living since 1981, when he completed environmental studies major at Pitzer College in Pomona, his thesis focusing on the feasibility of using corporate credits for waste treatment. His first business was installing solar heaters for swimming pools, virtually unheard of at the time.

Ben has always been ahead of the curve, spotting trends and charging forward. He also has a unique ability to link these trends to technology, as he did at Nestlé, where he was self- proclaimed Nestlé's 'Father of the Internet.' As a long-time Interactive Marketing professional, he launched over 100 product websites including those for PowerBar, Butterfinger, CoffeeMate, and Crunch.

After leaving Nestlé, Ben and Michael Wheeler reconnected and decided to found AltUse, a new kind of company dedicated to eliminating waste all over the world.
