I am a(n):

Entrepreneur

If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

Being IN the game and not WATCHING the game.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Inertia, both kinds.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

People want to see and hear your passion, but when messaging to a first-time recipient who knows little or nothing about your venture, dial it back. Obvious passion and knowledge, carefully presented, will draw the listener in.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. Those stomach aches, the ones like you just got punched in the gut, they do go away. 2. "Build-measure-learn, repeat". 3. You're not the boss, everyone else is.

Do you know what a wet nurse is?

Funny-sounding term that I only recently learned the meaning. And it struck me as analogous to my early career in tech which was providing the left-brain attributes necessary for the success of ideas created by right-brained others.
