Andrew Kebbel

Nearly 10 years experience in the next generation sequencing field – encompassing more than three years experience as a research scientist/engineer, over three years as a field applications scientist in both bioinformatics and molecular biology, two years as a global support lead, and over one year as an applications marketing manager and product manager. I currently manage the technical support team at 10X Genomics. Core competencies include molecular biology techniques, mechanical and biomedical engineering principles, data analysis and interpretation, bioinformatics, customer training/support, and applications marketing. Extensive training experience in both theoretical understanding and practical applications of Next Generation Sequencing platforms, including significant interaction with customers and key opinion leaders in the market. I'm looking for an opportunity in the biotech field, which will ideally utilize my career experience in next gen sequencing and passion for impacting human health. I'm motivated by my ability to solve problems and apply my energy to team efforts that can accomplish more than any one person. I thrive in a start up environment where individuals are expected and encouraged to wear multiple hats to accomplish goals, and I look forward to discussing new opportunities with anyone who shares a similar mindset.
