If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

I want to change the world.

My favorite startups:

Apple, Airbnb, Tesla, Eight Sleep

Why did you start your company or why do you want to innovate inside your company?

After living through Complex PTSD and severe burnout at Snapchat, I discovered that most wellness solutions focused on mindset when the real key was nervous system regulation. Having grown up in a neurodiverse home and with a background in tech from Caltech, I saw an opportunity to make professional-grade stress management accessible to everyone through technology.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Most frustrating is seeing how many people are suffering from burnout unnecessarily while being skeptical of solutions due to wellness industry hype. Most rewarding is seeing the data - when users report 54% less stress within a week, or when they tell us they finally found something that actually works in their busy schedule.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Ignoring their body's physical limits over time - not prioritizing nervous system regulation. Many founders think burnout is inevitable or even a badge of honor. Our data shows that sustainable high performance is possible when you understand and work with your biology rather than against it.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. Let data guide decisions, but don't let it paralyze you - we've made our biggest breakthroughs by measuring outcomes while staying agile enough to pivot + listen to intuition.
2. Build for the user you truly understand - my personal experience with burnout gave us insights we couldn't have accessed any other way
3. Treat your own wellbeing as a critical business metric - your ability to maintain clear thinking directly impacts every business decision and therefore the outcome of your startup in the long-term.

What are the biggest challenges you've faced at your current startup?

The primary challenge was breaking through the noise in the crowded wellness space by proving that our approach was fundamentally different and more effective. We had to demonstrate that nervous system regulation wasn't just another wellness trend, but a scientifically-validated approach to stress management. Another significant challenge was finding the right balance between scientific rigor and user accessibility - making complex neuroscience concepts practical and approachable without losing their effectiveness.

What has been the biggest factor in your progress to date?

Our biggest success has come from focusing relentlessly on data and user outcomes. By measuring everything - from individual stress levels to aggregate user patterns across millions of sessions - we've been able to validate and refine our approach continuously. Another crucial factor has been building alongside our community of health professionals, incorporating their expertise while making it accessible through technology. Finally, our commitment to quick, practical solutions that fit into busy lives (5 minutes or less) has driven consistently high engagement.
