Full bio

Ajay has been involved with mobile since 2002, when he left his job investing in startups to write apps for the first smartphones. The mobile companies he founded have created apps downloaded by tens of millions of users and have generated billions of page views. He grew up in SF Bay Area and earned an MBA from Stanford and bachelor’s degrees in physics and CS from UC Berkeley.

He is currently Founder and CEO of Moovweb. The Moovweb platform uses Responsive Delivery to empower businesses to go mobile by taking a fundamentally different approach to unifying their web and mobile development. With Moovweb, a business’s mobile sites and apps inherit and stay in sync with a desktop site’s content, features and business logic. This approach allows powerful mobile experiences to be delivered in days, not months and drives radically improved business agility over time.

The Moovweb platform is one of the world's busiest, with more than 15 billion mobile pages transformed this year alone for many of the world's largest mobile sites and apps, including Macy's, 1-800-FLOWERS.com, Sur la Table, Golfsmith, Vitacost, Kroger, Accenture, Cox Communications, Chico's, Sharpie and dozens of others. Moovweb is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in New York and London.
