Aaref Hilaly is partner at Sequoia, where he invests in early stage stage technology companies. He presently serves on the boards of Clari, Guardant Health, Skyhigh Networks, ThousandEyes, and several other companies. Prior to joining Sequoia, Aaref spent ten years as an entrepreneur, building two software companies: CenterRun, a pioneer in datacenter automation which was acquired by Sun Microsystems, and Clearwell, a SaaS company which was acquired by Symantec. He holds a BA from Oxford University and an MBA from Harvard University.
