Erik Bunaes

Erik's professional career has spanned more than two decades.  This includes international experience with Guy Carpenter (Marsh & McLennan) and Towers Perrin, as well as an exciting ride in Silicon Valley with InsWeb.com during the dot-com boom in the late 1990's.

Erik left the corporate world to help start-up, small and mid-sized service industry businesses develop and implement new growth strategies designed to achieve aggressive growth.  His firm, Endorphin Advisors, specializes in developing strategies to achieve four goals:

1. Better conceptualize and communicate services to the target market
2. Clearly differentiate a company and its services from the competition
3. Improve strategic decision-making based on cash flow/operating margin criteria
4. Strengthen sales and marketing strategy and messaging.

He is a passionate advocate for continuous learning and setting - and exceeding - long-shot goals in both his professional and athletic pursuits.  

Erik is also the co-founder of Your Marketing Lab^TM (http://www.yourmarketinglab.com/), an educational forum and business workshop helping business owners and entrepreneurs develop more effective marketing capabilities.

Erik holds a B.A. in English from St. Lawrence University and an M.B.A. from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder.  He studied French at the University of Grenoble in France, and has lived abroad in London, Paris and Grenoble, France. 

Erik is an avid and experienced mountain biker and an accomplished, elite alpine ski racer.  He currently lives in Marin County, California with his wife, his son and his yellow lab.
