Blaise Zerega, Conde Nast Portfolio, Deputy Editor
Blaise Zerega comes to Condé Nast Portfolio from Wired, where he had been the managing editor since 2002.
Zerega helped lead Wired
to numerous awards, including a National Magazine Award for General
Excellence in 2004 and another for the Single-Topic Issue category in
2002. Wired was also named best magazine in America by the Chicago Tribune in 2004. Prior to joining Wired, Zerega was the editor of Red Herring magazine, once the bible of Silicon Valley. He was also the news editor at the technology supplement Forbes ASAP.
Zerega makes frequent media appearances and has been on such programs as Today and The View as well as on NPR and CNN.
He graduated from New York University and received his graduate degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin.
