Encantos raised $2M, NexTravel landed $2.4M; AdmitHub secured $2.5M; Shipamax picks up $7M

Encantos: Encantos is a multi-cultural children's entertainment brand. Encantos has raised $2 million in seed funding. Kapor Capital led the round, joined by Boston Meridian Partners, Chingona Ventures, Human Ventures, and MathCapital. Read more

NexTravel: NexTravel is a corporate travel booking startup. NexTravel has raised $2.4 million in Series A funding from Pipeline Angels and Quest Ventures. Read more

AdmitHub: AdmitHub is a chatbot used by colleges to answer student questions, help university officials disseminate messages and more. AdmitHub has raised $2.5 million fresh funding from Salesforce Ventures and the Google Assistant Investments program. Read more 

AmazeVR: AmazeVR is a VR content production and distribution platform. AmazeVR has raised $2.5 million in new Series A funding from Partners Investment and YG Investment. Read more

LynQ Technologies: LynQ Technologies’s tech allows any device to transmit low-bandwidth data for miles without cellular networks or infrastructure in a way that's difficult to intercept and detect. LynQ Technologies has raised $6 million in seed funding. Read more

Shipamax: Shipamax is helping freight forwarders and other logistics companies automate their back-office processes. Shipamax has raised $7 million. Mosaic Ventures led the round, joined by Crane Venture Partners, Y Combinator and other earlier investors. Read more

Imagr: Imagr is an automated checkout startup. Imagr has raised $9.5 million in funding led by Toshiba TEC Corp, with participation from Sage Capital and investor Harald McPike. Read more
