Email and SMS marketing continue to be some of the best ways to connect with customers - both existing and new. Shopify is one of the most trusted ecommerce platforms out there and offers a ton of tools and services for brands looking to increase sales and retain customers.
Now, according to a press release, the Shopify App Store is getting a new tool in Sendlane that should help brands both big and small with customer retention and acquisition through email and SMS marketing campaigns.
With many people working and living from home throughout 2020, email marketing was extremely effective, and many believe 2021 will be no different. Sendlane gives brands a way to easily connect with customers through drag-and-drop email builders, SMS templates, and store pop-ups.
It also includes revenue attribution, data triggers, real-time analytics, and various other features that brands can use to leverage. It also features integration with things like Facebook, Smile.io, and more.
For users with multiple Shopify stores, Sendlane integration even allows for one account to work with multiple stores, something that isn't typically an option with other similar services.
"For a successful eCommerce merchant, data is like a firehose of information: there's certainly a lot of it, but it can be hard to use effectively. Add to that the changing landscape of privacy and regulation, and running an online store starts to turn into an experts-only exercise," said Jimmy Kim, Co-Founder and CEO of Sendlane.
