PepGen raised $112.5M; Lucid Lane landed $16M; Kensho Health secured $3.5M; DynamiCare Health picks

T-knife Therapeutics: T-knife Therapeutics is a Berlin-based, pre-clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing tumor-specific T cell receptor therapies. T-knife Therapeutics raised $110 million in Series B funding. Fidelity Management led the round, joined by LSP, Qatar Investment Authority and Casdin Capital. Read more 

Zentera Therapeutics: Zentera Therapeutics is a Shanghai, China-based biopharmaceutical company aiming to bring cancer therapies to China. Zentera Therapeutics, has raised $75 million in Series B funding. OrbiMed Advisors Asia and Tybourne Capital Management led the round, joined by Avidity Partners, Casdin Capital, and Surveyor Capital. Read more  

PepGen: PepGen is a Boston-based maker of therapies for neurologic diseases. PepGen has raised $112.5 million. Investors included RA Capital Management, Oxford Sciences Innovation, CureDuchenne Ventures, Viking Global Investors, Deerfield Management Company, Adage Capital Management, Samsara Biocapital, and Laurion Capital Management. Vera Whole Health: Vera Whole Health is a Seattle-based start-up that is pioneering a new, subscription-type model for employee healthcare. Vera Whole Health has raised $50 million in funding from JPMorgan, which will begin offering Vera’s services to its employees during benefits enrollment season this fall. Read more

Verifiable: Verifiable is a Austin, Tex.-based API platform that automates primary source verifications to streamline healthcare provider credentialing. Verifiable has raised $17 million in Series A funding led by the Altman brothers (Sam, Jack, Max), with participation from Craft Ventures and a group of individual investors, including Flexport’s Ryan Petersen, Rippling’s Parker Conrad, and Front’s Mathilde Collin, among others. Onsurity: Onsurity is a Bangalore, India-based employee healthcare platform that makes employee benefits available by monthly subscription to small businesses and startups. Onsurity has raised $16 million in Series A funding. Quona Capital led the round, joined by Nexus Venture Partners, Whiteboard Capital, and Clover Healthcare founder and CEO Vivek Garipalli. Lucid Lane: Lucid Lane is a Los Altos, Ca.-based tele-health platform for pain, mental health, and substance use. Lucid Lane has raised $16 million in Series A funding. Accel led the round, joined by Battery Ventures, AME Cloud Ventures, and Morado Ventures. Read more

Juno Medical: Juno Medical is a New York-based startup building membership-only doctors' offices focused on whole families, beginning in Harlem. Juno Medical, has raised $5.4 million in seed funding. Vast Ventures led the round, joined by Atento Capital, Company Ventures, humbition, RareBreed Ventures, and Lafayette Square. Read more 

HeyRenee: HeyRenee is a L.A.-based digital health assistant startup designed for older and underserved Americans to coordinate all aspects of their healthcare. HeyRenee has raised $3.8 million in seed funding. Quiet Capital led the round, joined by Mucker Capital, Fika Ventures, Tau Ventures, Global Founders Capital, and SaaS Venture Capital. Read more

Kensho Health: Kensho Health is a Venice, Ca.-based online directory of holistic healthcare providers. Kensho Health raised $3.5 million in seed funding led by KB Partners, with participation from Company Ventures and Gaingels. Read more

DynamiCare Health: DynamiCare Health is a Massachusetts-based digital health company aims to rollout of its evidence-based program to help people overcome substance use.  DynamiCare Health has raised $1.5M in seed funding. The round was led by VC fund Early Light Ventures with participation from leading mental health and addiction advocate, former U.S. Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy. Read more
