NeighborSchools raised $3.5M; Parabol picks up $4M; Geenee closed $7M; CTO.ai landed $7.5M

NeighborSchools: NeighborSchools is a child-care platform that connects parents to licensed home daycares. NeighborSchools has raised $3.5 million in seed funding. Accomplice led the round, joined by Tuhaye Venture Partners and World Within. Read more

Parabol: Parabol aims to better enable distributed and in-house teams to identify effective processes and gauge how meetings have gone. Parabol has raised $4 million in seed funding from CRV, Haystack, and the Slack Fund. Read more

Geenee: Geenee is a brand engagement platform that uses image and video recognition to identify items and brands that people photograph, ostensibly turning that interest into an e-commerce experience. Geenee has raised $7 million in seed funding led by IDI Partners. Read more

CTO.ai: CTO.ai’s platform aims to give engineering teams a way to access and share shortcuts that help them customize and automate repeatable tasks. CTO.ai has raised $7.5 million in seed funding. Investors in the round include Tiger Global, Slack Fund, Yaletown Partners, Pallasite Ventures, Panache Ventures and London-based entrepreneur Jonathan Bixby.  Read more 

Mylo: Mylo is a personal savings and investing app. Mylo has raised $7.6 million in Series A funding. National Bank led the round, joined by Desjardins Capital, Ferst Capital Partners, and Tactito. Read more

RedMarlin: RedMarlin is a fraud prevention company focused on counterfeit goods. RedMarlin has raised $10 million in Series A funding co-led by Thomvest Ventures and Crosslink Capital, with participation from Cyber Mentor Fund, Nexxus Venture Partners, and Rain Capital. Read more
