OnPay raised $6M; Samya.AI landed $6M; Canalyst secured $15.3M; Soft Robotics picks up $23M

Caspar: Caspar is a tech digital therapy platform app aimed at helping health care providers better communicate with patients before, during, and after a hospital stay. Caspar has raised €5.3 million in Series A funding led by Ananda Impact Ventures, with participation from earlier backers Atlantic Labs, Think.Health Ventures and German entrepreneur Helmut Nanz. OnPay: OnPay developed a SaaS-based payroll software. OnPay has raised $6 million in funding from numerous, unnamed, individual investors. Read more

Samya.AI: Samya.AI is a SaaS company focused on helping CPG companies increase their revenue growth. Samya.AI has raised $6 million in seed funding led by Sequoia India, with participation from numerous individual investors. Read more

Canalyst: Canalyst is selling equity research to capital markets. Canalyst has raised $15.3 million in Series B funding led by an undisclosed investor, with participation from ScaleUP Ventures and earlier backers, including Vanedge Capital. Read more

Soft Robotics: Soft Robotics is a robotics company that designs and builds soft robotic gripping systems. Soft Robotics has raised $23 million in Series B funding. Earlier backers Calibrate Ventures and Material Impact led the round, joined by FANUC Corp. earlier backers Honeywell, Hyperplane, Scale, Tekfen Ventures, and Yamaha. Read more

Sono Motors: Sono Motors is a solar-powered electric car company. Sono Motors says it has raised $55.42 in one of Europe's largest crowdfunding campaigns to date. Read more

Scoutbee: Scoutbee’s software aims to help procurement professionals. Scoutbee has raised $60 million in Series B funding. Atomico led the new financing, with participation from Lakestar and Siemens-backed venture firm Next47. Read more
