Elon Musk: Put in 80 to 100 hour workweeks; achieve what the average person does in half the time

Be focused on something that will have high value to someone else

The interview with Elon Musk is from years ago. But the lessons remain. Today Musk is talking about "robo-taxis"; has a strained relationship with the SEC, which settled with Musk on what he could not post on Twitter; and probably still wishes he could take Tesla private. In 2010, Musk was chief executive of both Tesla Motors and SpaceX, chairman of SolarCity, philanthropist through his Musk Foundation. He was and still is father of five boys.

In our interview, it's still amazing that he talks about putting in 80-hour work weeks or twice as much as the average person. He put that into perspective by saying a person should strive to do what someone else can do in half the time.

This was my final segment with him in our four-part, hour-long interview. It was worth reposting!
