Aura Health: Aura is an emotion-based search engine that helps people improve their mood within 3 minutes using wellness content. Aura has raised a $2.7 million in seed funding co-led by Cowboy Ventures and Reach Capital. Read more
Goxip: Goxip is your ultimate destination for searching, discovering and purchasing any fashion and beauty products you ever desire. Goxip has added $1.4 million in funding to a $5 million round the company has closed in January. Its newest backer is the financial services company Convoy. Earlier investors that include the Chinese photo app company Meitu also took part. Read more
Zypmedia: Zypmedia provides local ad sales executives and their customers an opportunity to grow their business and evolve with a changing media environment. Zypmedia has raised $5.6 million in Series C funding led by Archer Venture Capital, with participation from earlier backers US Venture Partners and Sinclair Broadcast Group. Read mmore

Freebird has raised an $8 million in Series A funding led by American Express Ventures, with participation from Citi Ventures, PAR Capital Ventures, General Catalyst and Accomplice. Read more
Jackpocket: Jackpocket is the first mobile app where users can buy official state lotteries tickets from their phone. Jackpocket has raised $16 million in Series B funding. Conductive Ventures led the round; other participants include DCM Ventures and former NBA Commissioner David Stern. Read more
Sentieo: Sentieo is a financial research platform that develops and distributes a range of systems to its clients. Sentieo has raised $19 million in Series A funding led by Centana Growth Partners. Read more
HeadSpin: HeadSpin is a powerful, easy-to-use testing and mobile experience platform. HeadSpin has raised $20 million in Series B funding. Investors include ICONIQ, Battery Ventures, EQT Ventures, Kearny Jackson, Adam D’Angelo, Ross Mason and Ryan Hoover, along with earlier backers GV, Telstra Ventures, Danhua Capital, Nexus Ventures Partners, and NextWorld Capital. AppZen: AppZen offers an artificial Intelligence powered SaaS solution for automating enterprise back office processes. AppZen has raised $35 million in Series B funding. Lightspeed Venture Partners led the round, with participation from Redpoint Ventures and Resolute Ventures. Read more
Ethos: Ethos is a life insurance company that creates modern, ethical life insurance to protect the life of their clients. Ethos has raised $35 million in a Series B round the combines equity and debt and that was provided to the company by Accel, GV, Sequoia Capital, Roc Nation’s Arrive, and Silicon Valley Bank, among others.
