What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Having your reputation on the line when you promise a date to investors or beta-users and missing it.

The best is having the product ship-out and have the growth and people spreading a vision that they can believe in.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?

Taking money too early and never googling to see what the landscape of the market they are entering looks like.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

"Ideas are sh*t, execution is the game"
"Passion without focus is recklessness"
Pick your team slowly, test religiously.

Full bio

Gabriel Kruse is a hungry innovator at his core. In everywhere he is asked to participate, he seeks to add value to industries, businesses, and people in a conscientious way that keeps company vision at the forefront of every action and plan. From the experience he has gained in building two of his own businesses, Gabriel understands the rule of wearing many hats. No one understands the process of building a foundation of a business better, and this directly translates to his loyalty in driving the founding principles of every company he works with. His far-reaching social media experience and key influencer attention have allowed him the intuition and ability to recognize the importance of original media content that guides his marketing strategies, and the way he interacts with trends, users, and clients to create holistically impactful value.

Duul competed in the Splash LA competition. The top eight of the competition will compete live on stage at Splash LA on Oct. 15 at Loews Santa Monica Hotel. Register here
