Spiral Genetics, Crittercism, DeveloperAuction and Crushpath all raised funds

Seed-stage

Job recruiting service DeveloperAuction raised $2.7 million first in its round of funding, led by NEA and Sierra Ventures, with participation from Google Ventures, Crosslink Capital, Jeff Clavier’s SoftTech VC, and John Suliman.

Mobile publishing platform Pressly secured $1.5 million in financing from iNovia Capital and OMERS Ventures.

Employee perks and discounts platform AnyPerk raised $1.4 million in funding from Digital Garage, Ben Lewis, Michael Liou, CyberAgentVenture and Shogo Kawada.

Startupi, a Brazilian site that covers the Brazilian startup scene, raised a $300,000 seed round from Initial Capital and Redpoint eVentures.

 

Social impact startup ProBueno raised $340,000 in angel funding from friends and family, and a group of investors that includes Habib Haddad, CEO of Wamda Capital Fund, and the BeryTech fund.


Virtual catalog Wantr raised $600,000 from Seed Capital with participation from the founders of Trendsales and other angel investors.

 

Festicket, a U.K. ticket provider, raised $680,000 from Kima Ventures, Jacques-Antoine Granjon, UK’s #1 Seed and Playfair Capital, and Windcrest Partners.

 

Early-stage

Sales software company Crushpath raised $6 million in Series A funding round led by Chamath Palihapitiya. with participation from Charles River Ventures.

Bioinformatics company Spiral Genetics raised $3 million in a Series A round led by DFJ.

 

Cross-platform gaming company Arkadium raised $5 million in Series A funding from Edison Ventures.

Online fashion shop Zalora received a $26 million investment from German retail company Tengelmann Group. 

Enterprise storage company SwiftStack raised $6.1 million in a Series A funding, led by Mayfield Fund with participation from Storm Ventures and UMC Capital.

OpinionLab, which powers customer feedback technology for websites, received $15 million in growth capital financing from SSM Partners.

 

Casabu, the U.K.-based retail start-up for mums, raised a £900,000 ($1.4 million) Series A funding round led by Ingenious Ventures, with participation from existing investor Horatio Investments.

 

Applied data science company HG Data raised $2 million in funding led by EPIC Ventures and angel investors including Kevin O’Connor, Eric Kanowsky, AJ Rice and Tim Baskerville.

Catchpoint Systems, a provider of performance monitoring software, raised $3.2 million in Series A financing led by Battery Ventures.

Late-stage

Mobile support infrastructure company Crittercism raised $12 million in a Series B funding round led by existing investor Google Ventures, with participation from other existing investors Shasta Ventures and Opus Capital. 

Endgame, a provider of cyber security solutions, closed a $23 million Series B round led by Paladin Capital Group, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Columbia Capital, Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers and TechOperators.

Loyalty service 500friends announced a $5 Million Series B round of funding led by existing investor Intel Capital and new investor Fung Capital with participation from returning investor Crosslink Capital.

Data analytics software company Evolv raised $15 million in Series D financing. led by VantagePoint Capital Partners, with participation from GGV Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Khosla Ventures.

Software-as-a-service company Domo raised $60 million in Series B financing from GGV Capital, Greylock Partners,Bezos Expeditions, Workday co-CEOs Aneel Bhusri and David Duffield, Founders Fund and Mercato Partners.

Russian online travel agency Oktogo.ru raised $11 million from VTB Capital, Mangrove Capital Partners, Ventech, and Victor Sazhin Group. 

Real-time mobile demand-side platform provider Dobleas closed a $5.4 million Series B funding round from Tokyo-based FreakOut.

 

Life sciences company Nabsys closed a $20 million Series D financing round led by new investor Bay City Capital with participation from existing investors including Point Judith Capital and Stata Venture Partners.
