What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?
Nothing we ever pursue at our company, MiNeeds, and succeed at comes easy. Each pursuit is always full of challenges. That’s what makes it so intriguing and rewarding. You’re often kept on your toes, you’re always learning, and forever growing. But when you do nail a pursuit, all the effort put in it feels well worth it.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?
They try to do too much at once, they lose focus on what matters most to make their business successful.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

Most important lesson I’ve learned is: Less is more. Meaning: focus, focus focus, do one heck of a job at the few things that matter most to make the business successful, and don’t worry about all the other things that you *could* be doing.

Second is: Perseverance. Everything will be challenging, stay at it, until you nail it no matter how long it takes. Remember Edison, we won’t have “light” if it wasn’t to his perseverance.

Third: Hire the best team you can attract, and do everything you can to retain and inspire them. If you’re going to build an incredible company, you need brilliant people with you.

MiNeeds.com is the fast-growing online service that instantly matches local professionals who bid on needs posted by local consumers.

MiNeeds.com, which has soared past 50,000 professionals registered nationwide, offers a highly efficient lead and revenue generator, instantly alerting professionals via phone and email of new, highly-qualified customers in their area.

For consumers, MiNeeds.com is an incredible time saver, a free and super-efficient way to post their exact “need” or “needs” once then receive competitive proposals they can compare and choose without having to initiate contact, negotiate costs or waste time on the phone.

Unlike competitors who take a commission based on a percentage of the sale, or incur charges per bid received, with MiNeeds.com businesses instead select from three zero-commission membership packages

MiNeeds.com is syndicating its model into highly-target market niches, recently launching MiWeddingNeeds.com, the free site that simplifies wedding planning by enabling brides and wedding planners to more easily source local-area vendors such as wedding venues, caterers, bands, florists, etc.

Businesses showcase their services on MiNeeds.com with profiles defined by specialty and location, including pictures, videos, work samples, testimonials, reviews, past bids/jobs won, and can publish advice, articles, or answer questions within the MiNeeds.com community.
