500 Startups unveils 22 startups; Andreessen Horowitz raises $200 million more; GameStop goes FB

500 Startups held one demo day yesterday and is holding one today, where 22 startups are unveiling what they've been working on.

Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz has created a new $200 million co-investment fund intended to supplement larger, growth-stage funding rounds.

 

Video game retailer GameStop is setting up its very own storefront on Facebook, with the help of Adgregate Markets, making it the first multichannel gaming company to launch a Facebook storefront.

GoldSpot Media, provider of mobile rich media and video advertising solutions, closed $12.05 million in Series B funding from Silicon Valley investors Exa Ventures and Berg Enterprises.

me2me, a software company delivering productivity software solutions for enterprise mobility, raised 2.15 million Swiss francs ($2.34 million) in a first close of its Series A financing round.

 

MyHealthDIRECT, a company providing tech solutions to connect people with health providers, raised a $4 million Series B round from Arboretum Ventures and previous investor Chrysalis Ventures.

 

Real-time TV guide SocialGuide raised $1.5 million in funding led by a group of angel investors.

UsingMiles.com, a search engine and management tool for customer loyalty programs, closed a $2.7 million Series A round of funding. Along with the round, eBags.com founder and CEO Jon Nordmark became CEO of the company.
