Read more...Facebook’s fbFund 2009 is well on its way, today announcing the first batch of finalists who will have the chance to win seed investments of up to $100,000 and more importantly, the opportunity to be invited into the fbFund incubator program. The selected will be mentored and guided by Facebook engineers and executives, along with succesful entrepreneurs, angel investors and venture capitalists including Accel Partners, Facebook and First Round Capital.
Over the last month, the fbFund team has reviewed 400 submissions from companies building Facebook applications, leveraging Facebook Connect and building iPhone apps which integrate Facebook. Out of those 400, the fbFund team has chosen 50 finalists, and today his announcing the first 25.
