Online ad verification service launches with Series A round and Fortune 500 marketers

 One of the problems with Online advertising campaigns is accountability - are campaigns in compliance with the order terms signed up for?  Third party verification companies like DoubleVerify and AdXpose aim to identify and remove budget waste from advertising campaigns.

DoubleVerify, an Online media verification company founded in 2008, has raised $3.5 million in Series A funding today from First Round Capital, Genacast Ventures and other private investors.  Along with the funding news, the company has also announced it’s officially launched its services.  

The New York based company aims to bring accountability and transparency to Online advertising campaigns.  DoubleVerify says its technology has the ability to track the actual delivery of clients advertising campaigns and verify if they are being delivered as promised.  Its selling point basically being that its able to identify for markerters whether or not they should continue spending on these ad campaigns.

Currently, DoubleVerify says it is being tested or used by over two dozen Fortune 500 markerters in several industries including telecom, financial, entertainment, pharma, tech and travel. DoubleVerify said it is currently verifying billions of advertising transactions per month.
