House introduces bipartisan bill on AI in banking and housing
The bill would require a report on how these industries use AI to valuate homes and underwrite loans
Read more...If you've been following rumors on the Web about the next version of the iPhone having video recording capabilities, more evidence of this actually happening has come to surface.
It was found that Apple has placed an order for 100 million 8Gb NAND flash chips from Samsung Electronics, reports the Digitimes.
Speculation:
Apple recently unveiled the new Version 3.0 OS for the iPhone 3G, which includes plenty of official new features like copy & paste, multimedia text messaging, and other back-end capabilites which will improve user experience. Also, some images have been leaked of video recording options, like the image shown to the right from Macrumors.com. (Take a close look at the bottom right of image and see switch for video camera mode.)
The iPhone 3G, DOES indeed have video recording capabilities. Anybody who has a jail-broken iPhone uses this feature today. Also, Qik has built an application, which isn't allowed in the App Store yet, that records video using the iPhone camera, for streaming to its site.
With competitors all around the market including Nokia, Blackberry and Palm Pre, creating Smartphones just as good, or even better than the iPhone 3G, AND have video recording capabilities - it may be of Apple's interest to enable video recording in the next software update, as well as in the next generation iPhone.
Thus, the purchasing of the 8Gb flash chips, which could be used to increase the next gen iPhone's storage in order to hold more video footage.
