Legacy-to-cloud provider unveils platform to speed up migration process to online infrastructures
Queplix, provider of legacy to cloud migration and universal enterprise search,
announced today that it has raised $1.5 million in a Series A round of funding from Javelin Venture Partners.
Alongside the company’s fundraising announcement comes the presentation of its QueCloud platform. QueCloud enables customers to quickly migrate legacy applications to private or public infrastructures.
Queplix says that the latest release of the QueCloud platform is immediately available for shipping.
Mark Cashman, Queplix’s newly named CEO, believes that Queplix will provide a great service for companies wishing to make the jump from their existing setup to the hugely beneficial SaaS and cloud computing environments, asserting that his company “provides a unique platform to rapidly move mission-critical applications and information into a modern infrastructure, while at the same time enabling universal and secure search access to enterprise data across private and public clouds.”
The release today of QueCloud arrives not too far off from the company’s launch of QueSearch in March. QueSearch provides an essential service for any large company, enabling employees to search structured data, unstructured data, and data on the cloud, all at once. With QueCloud and QueSearch as its main products, Queplix is aiming to be a key business for companies wishing to bridge their local data with cloud computing networks.
