Respeecher: Respeecher is a voice tech startup that uses AI technology to transform voices, allowing the user to speak in the voice of another person. Respeecher has raised $1.5 million in seed funding. New York-based ff Venture Capital led the round, joined by Acrobator Ventures, Network VC, ICU Ventures and other angel investors. Read more  

Aanaab: Aanaab is an online teacher training platform. Aanaab has raised $1.5 million in seed funding led by Wamda Capital and Nour Nouf Knowledge Company, along with a group of angel investors in the education sector. Read more 

David Energy: David Energy is a startup that designs, builds, and manages onsite energy grids. David Energy has raised $1.5 million in seed funding led by Box Group and Greycroft, with participation from Great Oaks Ventures, Oceans, and individual investors. Read more 

BoxLock: BoxLock develops smart padlock to keep homes safe from porch thieves. BoxLock has raised $4.5 million in funding from numerous individual investors. Read more 

Powerful Foods: Powerful Foods makes especially high-protein foods like drinks, yogurt, and oatmeal. Powerful Foods just raised $5 million from MMG Equity Partners. Read more 

Leap Finance: Leap Finance is a financing platform for Indian students studying in the U.S. Leap Finance has raised $5.5 million led by Sequoia Capital India. Read more 

Arya: Arya is an Agri post-harvest services platform. Arya has raised $6 million in "pre-Series B" funding from Omnivore and earlier investor LGT Lightstone Aspada. Read more 

Membrion: Membrion makes ion-exchange membranes. Membrion has raised $6 million in Series A funding. Bellingham Angel Investors led the round, joined by WRF Capital and SeaChange Fund. Read more 

OpsCompass: OpsCompass makes cloud-based governance and compliance software. OpsCompass has raised $6.9 million in Series A funding. Elsewhere Partners led the round, joined by Dundee VC, Invest Nebraska, M25, Nelnet, and Nebraska Angels.  Read more 

FastForward.ai​: FastForward.ai​ is a social media SaaS platform for digital marketing, commerce and payments. FastForward.ai​ has raised $8 million in seed funding. General Catalyst and Ulu Ventures led the round, joined by Man Capital, Correlation Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank, which provided an undisclosed amount of debt funding. Read more 

Mavenoid: Mavenoid is a chatbot for tech-focused product support. Mavenoid has raised $8 million in Series A funding. Mosaic Ventures led the round, joined by Creandum and Point Nine Capital. Read more 

Anagram: Anagram is a health care billing platform. Anagram has raised $9.1 million in funding led by ManchesterStory, with participation from CareCredit, Waterline Ventures, Rogue Venture Partners, Launchpad Digital Health, KEC Ventures, and Healthy Ventures. Read more
