Foodvisor raised $4.5M; Ockam landed $4.9M; Quorso secured $5.2M

Foodvisor: Foodvisor is a food-tracking and advice app that detects what you're about to eat using image recognition then delivers nutritional facts about the meal. Foodvisor has raised $4.5 million led by Agrinnovation. Read more

Ockam: Ockam is selling tools to developers so they can establish an “architecture for trust” within their connected device applications. Ockam has raised $4.9 million in seed funding, including from Core Ventures, Okta Ventures, SGH Capital, and Future Ventures. Read more 

Quorso: Quorso is an intelligent platform for managing business performance. Quorso has raised $5.2 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Omers Ventures, with participation from earlier investor Hambro Perks. Read more

Nous Imaging: Nous Imaging develops brain MRI software that aims to arm MRI scanner operators with quality metrics in real-time. Nous Imaging has raised $6.6 million in funding, including from the Small Business Innovation Research program, the National Institute of Mental Health, and National Institutes of Health. Read more

Hastee: Hastee is an on-demand wages app that enables workers to more quickly access their pay. Hastee has raised $20 million in equity. Umbra Capital led the equity portion of the funding, joined by IDC Ventures and others. Read more

Cazoo: Cazoo is  used-car-buying platform that also offers car financing. Cazoo has raised £25 million from General Catalyst and Mubadala Capital, among others. The round brings Cazoo's total funding to £80 million. Read more
