Sentio raised $4.5M; Nexkey landed $6M; New Vector secured $8.5M; Sweepr picks up $9M

Sentio: Sentio, is a behavioral health startup offering an emotion-sensing wearable and a connected support app. Sentio has raised $4.5 million in seed funding led by Felicis Ventures, with participation from Anthemis, Exponential Ventures, and SOSV. Read more

Pela: Pela is a maker of compostable phone cases. Pela has raised C$5 million led by Jay-Z’s Marcy Venture Partners, with participation from Kensington Capital. 

Nexkey: Nexkey provides a mobile access control solution for commercial buildings and workspaces. Nexkey has raised $6 million in Series A funding led by earlier investor Upfront Ventures. Other participants include K9 Ventures, Mark IV Capital and Anand Chandrasekaran. Read more

New Vector: New Vector is looking to help businesses and individuals run their own secure communication infrastructure. New Vector has raised $8.5 million in Series A funding from Notion Capital and Dawn Capital, along with European seed fund Firstminute Capital. Read more

Sweepr: Sweepr is a smart-home customer service platform. Sweepr has raised $9 million in Series A funding led by Draper Esprit, with participation from Frontline.vc. Read more

Revel: Revel is a shared electric vehicle company that helps people who live and work in cities get where they need to go in a safe, reliable, and convenient way. Revel has raised $27.6 million Series A funding round. The round includes Toyota AI Ventures, Maniv Mobility, Blue Collective, and Launch Capital and was led by Ibex Investors. Read more
