Podcorn raised $2.2M; PTO Exchange landed $3M; SpotQA secured $3.25M; Syzygy Plasmonics closed $5.8M

Podcorn: Podcorn is a podcasting monetization platform. Podcorn has raised $2.2 million in seed funding from Bessemer Venture Partners, Alumni Ventures, 500 Startups, and Global Founders Capital.   

PTO Exchange: PTO Exchange helps companies and employees transform the value of paid time off. PTO Exchange has raised $3 million in seed funding from WestRiver Group, a collective of investment funds based in Kirkland, Wa. Read more

SpotQA: SpotQA develops a next-gen digital QA platform to enable users to deliver tomorrow’s QA and test automation solutions. SpotQA has raised $3.25 million in seed funding led by Crane Venture Partners.   Read more

Syzygy Plasmonics: Syzygy Plasmonics is a Developer of a plasmonic photocatalytic reactor. Syzygy Plasmonics has raised $5.8 million in Series A funding co-led by The Engine and The GOOSE Society of Texas.  Read more

BDS Analytics: BDS Analytics is the indispensable source for cannabis industry data and insight. BDS Analytics has raised $7 million from Key Investment Partners, Altitude Investment Management, and 7thirty. Read more

Tandem: Tandem is developing communication software for remote teams after pivoting from crypto. Tandem is raising a $7.5 million seed financing at a valuation north of $30 million. Slack investor Andreessen Horowitz is leading the round. Read more  

Idein: Idein aims enabling all real-world events to be handled by software, applying pattern recognition and signal processing technologies that have made remarkable progress in recent years to sensing. Idein has raised $7.8 million in funding led by Global Brain. Read more

Homeis: Homeis is a culture network for local, foreign-born communities. Homeis has raised $12 million in Series A funding led by Canaan and Spark Capital. Other investors in the company, which has now raised $16 million altogether, include Abstract VC, the Chernin Group, Samsung Next, Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian, former AOL CEO Tim Armstrong, and Taboola CEO Adam Singolda. Reputation.com: Reputation.com provides solutions for tracking and improving online reviews, social media, and local search visibility for businesses. Reputation.com has raised $30 million in new funding led by Ascension Ventures, with participation from Akkadian Ventures, Industry Ventures, River City Ventures and earlier backers Kleiner Perkins, August Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Heritage Group, and Icon Ventures. Starship Technologies: Starship Technologies develops self-driving delivery robots. Starship Technologies has raised $40 million in new Series A funding, bringing the company's total funding to date to $85 million. Morpheus Ventures led the newest tranche, joined by earlier backers TDK Ventures, Qu Ventures, Shasta Ventures, Matrix Partners, and MetaPlanet Holdings. Read more
