Zero has raised $2.8M; Squad landed $5M; Suralink closed $5.25M; Backbone secured $10M

Zero: Zero is a fasting app. Zero has raised $2.8 million from True Ventures and Trinity Ventures. Read more  

Squad: Squad is a cloud-based online marketplace designed to offer crowd-sourced work. Squad has raised $5 million in seed funding. First Round Capital led the round and was joined by Betaworks, Y Combinator, Alpha Bridge Ventures, Day One Ventures, Jane VC, serial founder Gina Bianchini, and early Snapchat employee Sebastian Gil.  Read more  

Suralink: Suralink is an online platform that combines a dynamic PBC list, assignment workflow, and secure file hosting. Suralink has raised $5.25 million from Growth Street Partners. Read more

Penta: Penta is a digital platform for business banking aimed at SMEs and startups. Penta has raised €8 million in funding led by HV Holtzbrinck Ventures, with participation from Finleap and Fabrick. Read more

Backbone: Backbone PLM is a platform that helps consumer goods companies manage complex design and product development processes. Backbone has raised $10 million in Series A2 funding led by Foundry Group. Read more

InCountry: InCountry is a data residency-as-a-service platform that enables global data compliance for international business. InCountry has raised $15 million in Series A funding from Arbor Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Mubadala and earlier backers Caffeinated Capital, Felicis Ventures,CRV, and Team Builder Ventures. Teralytics: Teralytics develops big data analytics based on petabytes of data sourced from credit card operators, CRM, and mobile networks. Teralytics has raised $17.5 million in funding. Robert Bosch VC led the round, joined by Innogy Ventures, Deutsche Bahn Digital Ventures, LBBW Venture Capital, Liil Ventures and earlier investors Atomico and Lakestar. Read more   

Sidecar Health: Sidecar Health is a provider of innovative health care insurance plans. Sidecar Health has raised $18 million in funding led by GreatPoint Venturesand Morpheus Ventures. Read more

CompareAsiaGroup: CompareAsiaGroup is a personal finance management platform committed to help people across Asia to save time and money. CompareAsiaGroup has raised $20 million in Series B1 funding led by Experian. Read more

Dough: Dough is a web-based investing platform that helps individual traders manage their own finances. Dough has raised $20 million from the venture-backed fintech startup Tastytrade, which will operate Dough as a subsidiary. Read more

IVX Health: IVX Health is a leading provider of infusion and injection therapy for those with complex chronic conditions. IVX Health has raised $22.5 million co-led by McKesson Ventures and Health Velocity Capital. Read more    

Awfis: Awfis provides inspiring workspaces, including cabins, desks, and meeting rooms. Awfis has raised $30 million in Series D funding led by ChrysCapital. Earlier investors Sequoia Capital India and The Three Sisters Institutional Office also participated in the round. Read more

Carro: Carro is an online automotive marketplace that offers a full-stack service for all aspects of car ownership. Carro has raised $30 million in Series B financing that brings the round's total to $90 million. Backers include SoftBank Ventures Asia, the government-linked global investor EDBI, Dietrich Foundation, B Capital Group, and NCORE Ventures, among others. The company has also acquired the Indonesia-based marketplace Jual. Read more

Fluent Commerce: Fluent Retail provides omni-channel retailers with smart technology that bring the customers to the store and vice versa. Fluent Retail has raised $33 million in Series B funding led by the private equity firm Arrowroot Capital. Read more

TickPick: TickPick is a ticket marketplace to buy, bid on and sell tickets on sports, concerts and other live events. TickPick has raised $40 million in its first institutional funding from PWP Growth Equity. Read more
