Defendify has raised $1.6M in pre-seed round, led by private investors with participation from Maine Technology Institute (MTI) and early stage cybersecurity industry investor 3dot6 Ventures. Enboarder: Enboarder is a technology company that helps employers create engaging onboarding experiences for their new employees. Enboarder has raised $8 million in Series A funding led by Greycroft, with participation from Next Coast Ventures and Stage 2 Capital. Read more

Text IQ: Text IQ uses groundbreaking AI technology to protect companies from high-stakes legal and compliance disasters. Text IQ has raised $12.6 million in Series A funding from first mark Capital and Sierra Ventures. Read more

Valtix: Valtix is a venture-backed, stealth startup redefining network security in the enterprise cloud. Valtix has raised $14 million in funding from Trinity Ventures, Vertex Ventures, and Wing Venture Capital. Read more

Aunt Bertha: Aunt Bertha enables individuals to find and apply for government and charitable social service programs. Aunt Bertha has raised $16 million in Series C funding. Noro-Moseley Partners led the round and was joined by Digitalis Ventures, Techstars Ventures, Techstars Impact, and Capital Factory. Read more

Bitrise: Bitrise is empowering businesses to build better apps, faster through a SaaS DevOps platform built by mobile developers for mobile developers. Bitrise has raised $20 million in Series B funding. Partech led the round, with participation from Zobito and earlier investors Y Combinator, OpenOcean and Fiedler Capital. Read more

GoTenna: GoTenna is mobile mesh networking company that provides technologies for off-grid and decentralized communications. GoTenna has raised $24 million in Series C funding. Founders Fund led the round, joined by Comcast Ventures, Union Square Ventures, Collaborative Fund, Walden VC, MentorTech and Bloomberg Beta. Read more

The round was led by Austin-based BuildGroup, with participation from Acadia Woods, Herington, Interlock Partners, Macanta Investments, the limited partners at Manifest and “brandtech” firm You & Mr Jones. Vida has raised $30 million in Series C funding from GuideWell Mutual Holding Corporation, Teladoc Health, Workday Ventures and earlier investors. Read more

SmartRent: SmartRent is an enterprise home automation and internet of things platform for the multifamily industry. SmartRent has raised $32 million in Series B funding. Bain Capital Ventures led the round; it was joined by RET Ventures,UDR, Essex Property Trust, and Starwood Capital. Read more

Valimail: Valimail is an anti-phishing company that has been driving the global trustworthiness of email communications since 2015. Valimail has raised $45 million in Series C funding from Insight Partners. Read more

Mattermost: Mattermost provides enterprise-grade messaging solutions for organizations on a vibrant open source platform. Mattermost has raised $50 million in Series B funding led by Y Combinator’s Continuity Fund. Other participants includeBattery Ventures, Redpoint Ventures and S28 Capital. Read more

Postman: Postman is a complete API development environment: the only end-to-end solution with collaboration, documentation, mocks, and monitoring. Postman has raised $50 million in Series B funding led by CRV, withNexus Venture Partners also participating. The company has now raised $58 million altogether. Read more
