Building on the idea of creating smart therapies that are capable of making sophisticated decisions, they sought to apply the concept of the emerging field of mRNA therapeutics. Liveoak has raised $8 million in funding. S3 Ventures led the round, joined by Seven Peaks Ventures, Wild Basin Investments, State Farm Ventures, Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures and Broadhaven Capital Partners. Read more

GuardKnox has raised $21 million in Series A funding led by Fraser McCombs Capital, with participation from Faurecia, SAIC Capital, Glory Ventures, NextLeap Ventures,VectoIQ, Plug and Play, Allied, Cyphertech, and Kardan.
