Linear Labs raised $4.5M; Perimeter 81 raised $5; Sayata Labs raised $6.5M; Alpha Foods raised $7M

Cytena: Cytena develops single-cell printing technology for cell research and professional diagnostics. Cytena has raised €3 million in Series A funding, including from High-Tech Gründerfonds. Read more

Linear Labs: Linear Labs, an electric motor company, has created an entirely new family of electric motor systems designed for the next generation of electric vehicles, HVAC systems and robotics welcoming in a new era of smarter energy utilization. Linear Labs has raised $4.5 million in a seed round led by Science Inc. and Kindred Ventures. Numerous individual investors also joined the round, including Chris and Crystal Sacca and former Uber exec Ryan Graves, who'd opened his own venture firm, Saltwater Ventures, last year. Read more

Perimeter 81: Perimeter 81 is a next-generation network security provider, driven by the mission to transform secure network access for the modern and distributed workforce. Perimeter 81 has raised $5 million led by Spring Ventures. Read more

Sayata Labs: Sayata Labs is an enterprise-grade cyber risk assessment company. Sayata Labs has raised $6.5 million in seed funding led by Elron. Read more


Alpha Foods: Alpha Foods is dedicated to returning to the roots of a healthy diet and sustainable industry. Alpha Foods has raised $7 million in funding co-led by New Crop Capital and AccelFoods. Read more

Boundless Immigration: Boundless provides immigrants with the tools, information, and personalized support to navigate their immigration journey. Boundless has raised $7.8 million in Series A funding led by Foundry Group. Other participants in the round include Industry Ventures, Forefront Venture Partners and earlier investorsTrilogy Equity Partners, Pioneer Square Labs, Two Sigma Ventures, and Founders’ Co-op. SentiLink: SentiLink's technology helps you detect and block synthetic identities. SentiLink has raised $14 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz. Other investors in the round include Nyca Partners, Goldcrest Capital, Felicis Ventures, Caffeinated Capital, Max Levchin and Plaid cofounder and CEO Zach Perret. Read more

Hubs: Hubs makes manufacturing easy from prototyping to production. Hubs  has raised $18 million in Series C funding. Endeit Capital led the round, with participation from Hearst Ventures, EQT Ventures, Balderton Capital, Booking.com founder Arthur Kosten and Erik de Bruijn, founder of Ultimaker. Read more

Lola: Lola.com makes managing corporate travel easy, fast and agile. Lola has raised $37 million in Series C funding co-led by General Catalyst and Accel, with participation from earlier investors CRV, Tenaya Capital and GV. Read more

Arch Oncology: At Arch Oncology, they are aiming high to discover and develop new antibody therapeutics to treat patients living with cancer. Arch Oncology has raised $50 million in Series B funding led by Lightchain, the family office of Scottrade founder Rodger Riney. Earlier backers also joined the round, including RiverVest Venture Partners, Roche Venture Fund and 3x5 Partners. Read more

Vlocity: Vlocity is a leader in industry-specific cloud and mobile software, driving digital transformation for the world’s largest companies. Vlocity has raised $60 million in Series C funding at a $1 billion valuation. Sutter Hill Ventures and Salesforce Ventures co-led the round, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Accenture and New York Life. Read more

Innoviz Technologies: Innoviz develops technologies for autonomous driving that includes smart 3D sensing, sensor fusion, and accurate mapping and localization. Innoviz has raised $132 million in a Series C funding round that includes major Chinese financial institutions. The round, which makes Innoviz one of the better capitalized lidar startups, includes China Merchants Capital, Shenzhen Capital Group and New Alliance Capital. Israeli institutional investors Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services and Phoenix Insurance Company also participated. Read more
