Figment Networks raised $1.3M; Catch raised $5.1M; Fetcher raised $5.4M; Kaarta raised $6.5M

Figment Networks: Figment Networks is an open source crypto network operator. Figment Networks has raised $1.8 CAD ($1.3 million) in seed funding, including from Bonfire Ventures, FJ Labs, and XDL Capital Group.  

WarDucks: WarDucks’ mission is to build incredible games for you to play – on your own, with your friends, and on whichever device you like best. WarDucks has raised €3.3 million led by EQT Ventures. Read more

Catch: Catch is redesigning benefits to put people at the center of their own financial stability and security. Catch has raised $5.1 million in seed funding co-led by Khosla Ventures, NYCA Partners and Steve Jang. Though the company went through Y Combinator's winter batch of startups, it raised the funding prior to Demo Day, says TechCrunch. Other participants in the round include Kleiner Perkins, the Urban Innovation Fund and the Graduate Fund. Read more

Fetcher: Fetcher helps companies find the candidates whose talents, interests, and experience best match the needs of the job and the culture of the team. Fetcher has raised $5.4 million in seed funding co-led by Accomplice and Slow Ventures. Read more


Kaarta: Kaarta is the innovator of real-time mobile 3D reality capture, mapping complex environments with unprecedented speed, fidelity and ease. Kaarta has raised $6.5 million led by GreenSoil Building Innovation Fund. Other participants in the round include Riverfront Ventures,Zamagias Properties, Quaker Capital Investments and Startbot. Scope AR: Scope AR provides an advanced Augmented Reality Training Solutions. Scope AR has raised $9.7 million in Series A funding. Romulus Capital led the round, and was joined by investorsSignalFire, Susa Ventures, Haystack, New Stack Ventures, North American Corporation and AngelList. Read more

AppDetex: AppDetex has developed leading-edge domain registration and management software. AppDetex has raised $10 million in Series B funding led by First Analysis, with participation from Epic Ventures and Origin Ventures. Read more

Jitjatjo: Jitjatjo is contingent labor platform and marketplace, powered by AI / Machine Learning. Jitjatjo has raised $11 million in Series A funding led by Morningside Technology Ventures. Read more

The Plum Guide: The Plum Guide is building a marketplace of the world's best holiday homes. The Plum Guide has raised £14 million in Series B funding led by Talis Capital, with participation from Latitude, Hearst Ventures, and earlier backer Octopus Ventures. Read more

LogRocket: LogRocket records videos of user sessions with logs and network data, identifying UX problems and revealing the root cause of every bug. LogRocket has raised $11 million in Series A funding led by Battery Ventures, with participation from seed investor Matrix Partners. The company has now raised $15 million altogether. Read more

HoneyBook: HoneyBook is a business management platform creating tools to help creative entrepreneurs run their business on their own terms. HoneyBook has raised $28 million in Series C funding led by Citi Ventures. Earlier investors also chipped into the round, including Norwest Venture Partners, Aleph, Vintage Investment Partners and Hillsven Capital. Read more

Guesty: Guesty platform provides property managers and management companies with an end-to-end solution to simplify the complex operational needs of short-term rentals. Guesty has raised $35 million. Viola Growth led the round. Other participants include Vertex Ventures, Journey Ventures, Kingfisher Investment Advisors, La Maison Compagnie d’Investissement, TLV Partners and Magma Ventures. Movius: Movius Interactive provides cloud-based enterprise mobility solutions. Movius has raised $45 million in Series D funding. JPMorgan Chase led; other participants in the round include PointGuard Ventures, NEA and Anschutz Investment Co. Read more

Carbon Engineering: CE is a Canadian-based clean energy company leading the commercialization of groundbreaking technology that captures CO₂ directly from the atmosphere, and synthesizes it into clean, affordable transportation fuels.  CE has raised $68 million from a long list of backers, including Bill Gates, Murray Edwards, BHP, Chevron Technology Ventures, Oxy Low Carbon Ventures, Bethel Lands, Carbon Order, First Round Capital, Lowercase Capital, Rusheen Capital Management, Starlight Ventures, and Thomvest. Tarana Wireless: Tarana Wireless offers wireless transport solutions for non-line-of-sight (NLoS) and line-of-sight (LoS) operations. Tarana Wireless has raised $88 million from Khosla Ventures, EchoStar and earlier backer 1010 Holdings. Read more

Rent the Runway: Rent the Runway is an online e-commerce website that allows women to rent designer apparel and accessories. Rent the Runway has raised $125 million in new funding co-led by earlier backer Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from Franklin Templeton Investments, T. Rowe Price, and other earlier investors. Read more

UiPath: UiPath designs and develops robotic process automation software. UiPath is raising more than $400 million in Series D funding from venture capital investors. The company had previously raised $409 million from Capital G, Sequoia Capital, Accel and others, meaning the new round will double the total capital it has attracted. Read more
