HeyTutor: HeyTutor is a platform allowing students, tutors and agencies to connect. HeyTutor has raised $1 million in Series A funding from ScOp Venture Capital. Read more

Zestful: Zesfuk enables employers to offer customizable employee perk programs. Zesful has raised $1.1 million in funding, including from Bessemer Venture Partners, Day One Ventures, Matchstick Ventures, and Shrug Capital. Read more

Oxygen: Oxygen is a digital bank, focused on freelancers and the gig-economy at large offering banking and credit. Oxygen has raised $2.3 million in funding, including from Y Combinator, Base Ventures, and The House Fund, among others. Read more  

Packback: Packback is a Q&A learning platform powered by a proprietary A.I. to quantify and improve critical thinking skills in college students. Packback  has raised $2.5 million in funding led by University Ventures, with participation from Hyde Park Angels. Read more

Perfuze: Perfuze is developing innovative medical technology to treat acute ischemic stroke. Perfuze  has raised €3 million in seed funding led by Earlybird Ventures. Read more

LoanSnap: LoanSnap is a developer of smart loan technology that uses artificial intelligence. LoanSnap has raised $4.7 million in funding, including from Thomvest Ventures. Read more

Returnly: Returnly is a post-purchase payments platform that helps online retailers and brands bring frictionless returns to the modern shopper. Returnly has raised $8 million in Series A funding co-led by Mundi Ventures and The Venture City, with participation from Novel TMT Ventures and CoVenture. Read more

Filevine: Filevine is a cloud-based project, team and client management app for legal professionals and firms. Filevine  has raised $8.3 million in Series A funding led by Signal Peak Ventures. Read more

Marley Spoon: Marley Spoon is a cooking platform that offers recipes, helps its customers order seasonal ingredients. Marley Spoon has raised $30 million in debt funding to support its growth until it starts to break even, which it expects will happen next year. The company says it has also raised $15.95 million in bridge loans from two funds affiliated with Union Square Ventures and a separate €2 million from two minority shareholders. Read more

Simplus: Simplus is a Platinum Salesforce Partner and the industry leader in Quote-to-Cash implementations. Simplus  has raised $20 million in Series C funding.Kensington – SV Global Innovations led the round, with participation from Savano Capital Partners, Salesforce Ventures, Cross Creek Advisors, EPIC Ventures and University Growth Fund. Fortanix: Fortanix's mission is to solve cloud security and privacy. It uses Runtime Encryption(R) build upon Intel SGX to keep data always encrypted. Fortanix has raised $23 million in Series B funding led by Intel Capital, with participation from Foundation Capital and Neotribe. Read more

Verbit:  Verbit is a transcription and captioning software. Verbit has raised $23 million in Series A funding led by Viola Ventures, with participation from Vertex Ventures, HV Ventures, Oryzn Capital, Vintage Venture Partners and Clal-Tech. Read more

Mimiro: Mimiro, formerly ComplyAdvantage, helps firms make intelligent risk decisions, faster. Mimiro has raised $30 million in Series B funding led by Index Ventures, with participation from others, including Balderton Capital. Read more

Pliops: Pliops enables cloud and enterprise data center to access data faster than has traditionally been possible. Pliops has raised $30 million in Series B funding. Softbank Ventures Asia led the round, and was joined by Intel Capital, State of Mind Ventures, Viola Ventures, Western Digital Capital and Xilinx. Read more

Socati: Socati is the leading processor of THC-free full-spectrum hemp. Socati  has raised $33 million from JJR Private Capital. Read more  

Madison Reed: Madison Reed is a beauty company revolutionizing the way women color their hair. Madison Reed  has raised $51 million in Series D funding co-led by Norwest Venture Partnersand earlier backer True Partners, with participation from earlier investor Comcast Ventures and new backer Meaningful Partners. MabPlex: MabPlex is a contract development and manufacturing organization for biopharma based in China's Shandong Province. MabPlex has raised $59 million in Series A funding co-led by SDIC and Shenzhen VC. Read more

Dewpoint Therapeutics: Dewpoint Therapeutics is a translating new insights into biomolecular condensates. Dewpoint Therapeutics has raised $60 million in Series A funding led by Polaris Partners. Other investors in the round include Samsara BioCapital, 6 Dimensions Capital, EcoR1 Capital, Alexandria Venture Investments   andLeaps by Bayer. Read more

FabFitFun: FabFitFun is a membership and subscription commerce company. FabFitFun raised $80 million in Series A funding led by Kleiner Perkins in one of the last deals from its late-stage growth fund, which it spun off last fall. Other participants in the deal include NEA and Upfront Ventures. Read more  

Kinestral Technologies: Kinestral Technologies is developing adaptive, dynamic glass for the commercial, residential, and automotive markets. Kinestral Technologies has raised more than $100 million in Series D funding. The South Korean conglomerate SK Holdings led the round; other investors to participate include 5AM Ventures,Alexandria Real Estate, Capricorn Investment Group and Versant Ventures. Read more

Clover Health: Clover Health is reinventing the health insurance model by integrating technology into every aspect of its members’ healthcare. Clover Health has raised $500 million. The company is backed by Alphabet’s venture arm GV, Sequoia Capital, Floodgate, Bracket Capital, First Round Capital and more. Read more 

CrossEngage: CrossEngage is a Customer Data & Engagement Platform that combines a CDP with Cross-Channel Campaign Management capabilities. CrossEngage has raised Series A funding round, including from Vorwerk Ventures,Earlybird Venture Capital, Project A, a fund managed by IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft, Cavalry Ventures, 42CAP and Columbia Lake Partners.
