PlayVSPlayVS is an esports league that gives high school students the chance to compete for a state championship. PlayVS has raised $30.5 million in Series B funding led by Elysian Park Ventures, the investment arm of the L.A. Dodgers, with participation from Adidas, Samsung NEXT, Plexo Capital, and angel investors, including Sean “Diddy” Combs and David Drummond. Earlier backers also joined the round, including New Enterprise Associates, Science Inc., Crosscut Ventures, Coatue Managementand WndrCo. Read more

Investors in the deal include Netgear, Math Venture Partners, Techstars Ventures, Wakestream Ventures, Sandalphon Capital, Otto cofounder Lior Ron, Cartavi founder Glenn Shimkus and angel investor Sam Guren. Zenjob: Zenjob is an online job portal that showcases temporary workers and a wide range of part-time jobs of hotels, supermarket chains, offices, and restaurants. It has developed a mobile application to simplify job searching and recruiting services. Zenjob has raised €15 million in Series B funding led by AXA Venture Partners, with participation from Acton Capital Partners, Redalpine and Atlantic Labs. Stilla Technologies: Stilla Technologies is a Paris-based European Biotechnology company that focuses on accelerating the development of next-generation genetic tests by providing a ground-breaking and flexible digital PCR (dPCR) solution: the Naica System. Stilla Technologies has raised $18.3 million in Series A funding. Illumina Ventures led the round, and was joined by investors including Kurma Partners, LBO France, BNP Paribas Développement, Paris Saclay Seeds and Idinvest Partners. Harborside Health CenterHarborside Health Center is the nation’s largest not-for-profit model medical cannabis dispensary. Harborsidehas raised $25 million in Series B funding, including from Salveo Capital, Navy Capital and Tidal Royalty.
