Fluentify: Fluentify connects language learners with carefully selected native speakers around the world trough 30-minutes individual live sessions. Fluentify has raised £1.5 million in funding led by Stefano Marsaglia from the Italian investment firm Peninsula Capital and private investors. Validere: Validere Technologies makes a portable diagnostic device that can rapidly provide critical information about any liquid on the device itself or to your smartphone. Validere has raised $7 million in seed funding led by Sallyport Investments, with participation from Y Combinator, Real Ventures, Moment Ventures, and ZhenFund. Edo: Edo is a data, measurement and analytics company that powers the success of marketing, research and creative professionals. Edo has raised $12 million in funding for real-time analytics and insights for television commercials. Read more

Rockset: Rockset is a next generation cloud data infrastructure. They believe that a data driven world has the potential to make life better for everyone. Enterprises are still struggling to use complex data primarily because real world data is messy and cannot be put to use easily. Rockset has raised $18.5 million in Series A funding led bySequoia Capital and Greylock Partners. Read more

Molekule: Molekule is a San Francisco-based science and clean air company that has developed a fundamentally new approach to cleaning air. Molekule has raised $25 million in Series B funding led by Foundry Group, with participation from earlier investors Crosslink Capital, Uncork Capital and TransLink Capital. Shape: Shape provides best-in-class defense against malicious automated cyber-attacks on web and mobile applications. Shape has deflected over $1B in fraud losses for major retailers, financial institutions, airlines, and government agencies. Shape has raised $26 million in Series E funding from Norwest Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins, Allegis Capital, JetBlue Ventures and Singtel, among others. Read more
