Tourmaline Labs: Tourmaline Labs is a company specializing in the development of cutting-edge software that will collect telematics data through the use of a smart phone. Tourmaline raised $2 million in funding, including from ClearVision Equity Partners and Tech Coast Angels. Read more »

Basis: Basis is an app that allows people to deal and cope with mental health issues and offers same-day access to trained specialists. Basis has raised $3.75 million in funding. Bedrock led the round, with participation from Wave Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Read more»

SKALE: SKALE acts as a middle-ware layer which provides high speed consensus and empowers dApps to run smart contracts at the rate of millions per second on platforms such as Ethereum, EOS, and other Smart Contract Blockchain platforms. The SKALE Network is a fully decentralized, open-source P2P network that is run using the SKALE utility token which is staked by dApps and supported by SKALE Mining nodes. CrowdRiff: CrowdRiff is an AI-powered visual content marketing platform purpose-built for travel and tourism brands, announced it has raised a $9 million USD series A funding round. The round was led by Leaders Fund, a venture capital fund with offices in Toronto and Atlanta focused on investing in enterprise SaaS companies, with participation from several other investors including High Alpha Capital and Gibraltar & Company. Read more»
