The SemTech Startup Competition is back by popular demand.

The contest seeks to identify, recognize and reward the best of the best, the most promising innovative seed-stage startups. It’s the perfect venue to show off new semantic technology products and innovations to an audience of potential investors, receive recognition from peers, gain media exposure, and potentially take home the coveted grand prize.

The Grand Prize Winner will receive a prize package worth over $12,000, including a 2012 SemTech West Silver Sponsorship (priced at $7,000) a 30-minute speaking slot on the official 2012 SemTech West program (Valued at $3,500, one conference pass (priced at $1,795).

SemTech will be held at the Hilton Union Square in downtown San Francisco on June 5-9, 2011. Now in its seventh year, SemTech 2011 is the world’s largest educational conference for the community of executives, technologists, researchers, investors and customers involved with semantic technologies.


The contest will consist of two rounds described in full below. The initial qualifying Round 1 will determine the 10 semi-finalists who will attend. Hurray, the competition ends in nine days.
